Good Morning all! Today we have a couple of things going on. First I am excited to announce my first digi stamp called Caroline! She will be available online this friday at my online store. She will come as a jpeg and png. Stay tuned for a sneak peek of another digi stamp release this week.

We also have a very special edition challenge this week over at V’s Sweet Challenge blog! This week we are celebrating my birthday which is on July 20th. Our DT Members have created some amazing celebration cards for your inspiration. We hope you can join us this week and get a chance to win a $10 Gift certificate to our online store! The challenge will run from Monday, July 16th till Sunday July 22nd at 11pm.

Digi darla Challenge

Good evening everyone! It’s time for another awesome digi darla challenge! This week digi darla is sponsored by bugaboo stamps ( another fav digi store). This weeks challenge is called ” Let’s Celebrate” and what better way to celebrate any occasion than with “crab boat” from bugaboo stamps. So for this card I used a few techniques I learned from different blogs I follow. I printed the digi on two different patten papers to use the sails and then used an embossing pen to give it a 3D effect. Then I used the cloud mask template I downloaded from Bev Rochester to make the clouds in the background. I colored in the digi stamp with my Copic markers and cut out the waves by hand. I wrapped some twine and distressed the sentiment piece. I rolled up the “ahoy” piece to make it look like a rolled parchment. 20120529-234509.jpg

Festive flowers challenge

Hey guys, here is another card I made for Digi Darla’s “Festive flowers” challenge. This challenge is extra special because 100% of the proceeds from the digi carla “Susana Shopper” stamp will go to the children in Nicaragua. Kim was inspired and moved after her visit to Nicaragua so please check out Digi Darla and help support her mission.

I have also entered this in the ABC DT challenge “anything goes”

Shabby Tea Room Challenge….

I was searching through the web and found yet another awesome challenge. This week The Shabby Tea Room challenge theme is “Birthday Bash”. Provided with a scrumptious photo for inspiration we are asked to create a Birthday card or project inspired by the photo and include a cupcake. WIth amazing inspirations from the Design Team I came up with this card. I have been wanting to use this C.C. design digi stamp for awhile and haven’t had a chance so I took this opportunity to enter both All that Scraps challenge and The Shabby Tea room‘s challenge. I must say I really love the color combo on this card and I also used a pop-up technique with the digi stamp.

Happy Easter!

Here is an easter card I made using Michele’s paper-piecing technique. I printed out the dress on designer paper and also cut out her arm. I love this technique because it really makes the stamp pop out. It was easy to do and will definitely be making more cards like this. I used a new Wyrn tiddlyink digi stamp and colored her in with copic markers and used prisma pencils for the background color.

Supplies used:

Stamps: Wyrn from tiddlyinks, teeny tiny wishes from SU.Copic E00, e00, e11, r20, E37, E35, E33, V12, C-5, 0, prisma pencils. Nestabilities “Labels Two”. Cardstock: SU pool party, cosmo cricket material girl, SU pawsitivily print. Ink: SU chocolate chip

This card has been entered in Mojo Monday sketch challenge!
