Holiday Card Series with Lawn Fawn

I’m back! Here is my second post of the day. I  would like to try out a Holiday Card series. This will be my first one in the series and I will try to  have a video up soon on how I created this card.

Well if you haven’t heard Lawnscapping Challenges has a DT call for their Facebook Inspiration team so I decided to give it a try.

For this card I used a few techniques that I have learned from Jennifer McGuire. She is truly an inspiration and an amazing and kind person.

So I first started out with a white piece of cardstock which I distressed to look like a winter night sky. I then embossed it with some glitter and then I used a snow stencil that I created on my silhouette program and used some embossing paste. While I let that dry I copic colored some bunnies from the “Snow Day” stamp set and then fussy cut them out. I then adhered some acetate paper onto another piece of white cardstock (which I cut out a window to) and then embossed the sentiment from the “Joy to the woods” stamp set onto the acetate sheet. I added some of my new  holiday sequins (available soon) onto the cardstock with the night sky and adhered the window cardstock to the sky cardstock with some foam adhesive. I really love how the glitter and falling snow look on this card and I see myself using this for a lot of my christmas cards and tags.

Celebrate – V’s Sweet Birthday Wish Inspiration

Good morning everyone! I am so excited to share with you a beautiful card that our Special Guest Designer Nicole Gavaldon has created using one of the four new stamps that were released this week.
It is an honor to have such a talented individual and I am very grateful.
Nicole used our brand new Birthday Wish stamp set. This stamp may be small in size but  packs a lot of stamps and is very versatile.
If you follow Nicole then you know how amazing she is with watercolors and you can see it in this card. I just love the soft colors and I definitely love how she used twine as the ballon strings. Now please don’t forget to check out her blog here and show her some love. Nicole also has an etsy shop where she sells some awesome handmade items. You can check that out here.
You can click here to purchase our new stamps.
Later today I will be posting a giveaway. Yay!!
Well thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!!

Never Forget 911 Card

Good evening crafters! Today I want to share with you a card I made in memory of those who we lost on 9/11. To make this card I used tim holtz distress inks for the background night sky. I used My Favorite things solid skyline die and then used my Alpha me and Life recorded stamp set for the sentiment. I then added stars with my white jelly pen and added glitter with my wink of Stella pen. I really loved how the sky came out.
Thank you for stopping by!

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

“Circles and Dots” VSC Challenge 27

Happy Monday all! Today is the first of the month so that can only mean that we have a brand new challenge for you. Yay!!!

Ok this months challenge we would like for you to incorporate circles and dots into your project. Maybe you like making round cards or you love using enamel dots. As long as we see round its all good.

For my card I used both my “Life Recorded” stamp set (which is sold out) and “Alpha Me” stamp set to create this card. I really love the circles and dots that come in the Life Recorded stamp set and used that to create the groups of circles. I also used matching sequins. I added a velvet bow ribbon at the bottom which is a new ribbon that will be listed in the shop. I just love this ribbon and it’s so fun to use.  I also forgot to mention that I used Hero Arts mini neon ink pads which I just love!

Hello Baby card in a box

Good afternoon everyone! Today I want to share with you a card I made. This is not my typical 4.25 by 5.50 card. This one turns into a box and can easily be folded down to fit into an envelope. My cousin had sent my son a birthday card in a box and I fell in love with it. I figured I should try it out and also use my new stamp set. For the measurements of this card I turned to YouTube and found a wonderful tutorial made by Candi Mclver. I used quilted bee MME paper pad for the pattern paper. The star cutouts were made using lawn Fawns puffy star die. I also glitter embossed the big star. I then die cut the word Hello using another Lawn Fawn die and then triple embossed it using clear embossing powder (a technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire). I used my Baby Love stamp set to decorate the box. On the back of the box there is space to write . I really enjoyed making this card and I would love to make more of these. They are just too fun! Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget if you would like to purchase this stamp set you can click here to my shop.
