As I promised here is a photo tutorial of the card.
Supplies: Kraft card 4.25 by 11 and scored at 5.50″
Distress ink
Corner punch
3x Grosgrain ribbon 3/4 ” cut at 2 in. Cut flag ends.
Thicker stickers
White gel pen
Foam stickers

Next , make dashes around Kraft card with white gel pen

Punch corner of Kraft base and one side of sentiment piece

Distress both Kraft cardstock and sentiment piece

Cut 3 pieces of 2 inch red grosgrain ribbon and cut flag ends

Now glue the ribbons to Kraft cardstock and place thicker letter stickers ontop of ribbon and then add foam stickers to sentiment piece and voila!

Digi Darla time!

I’m really excited about the news going on at digi darla’s blogspot. She is looking for 4 new DT members! I will be adding my name to the pile. :::fingers crossed::: For this weeks challenge DDC 12 she has given us her first sketch to work with. I love sketches so I had a lot of fun with this challenge. Father’s day is not too far away so I decided to make a fathers day card. I just fell in love with this kitty and his airplane. I colored him in with Copic markers and used digi kits as my background paper. I embellished with bakers twine (which is on sale at my shop ) and brads. Below I have included the sketch with my card. Another week, another amazing sketch by Deconstructed Jen. Her sketches really get the creative juices going. She has a couple of shapes going on here and I really wanted to show off the new ribbon I have on sale and I also really wanted to use tiddlyinks new digi. I colored the ballerina with Copic markers and blended in chalk ink around it. I used a combo of SU paper and digi paper. The ribbon I used is May Arts red v striped twill.

Good Morning! Today I have a new card for Digi Darla’s inspirational photo theme.

“This week we are doing an Inspirational Photo theme - What do you see? The colors, design, elements? We’re excited to see what you use for inspiration from this photograph!!”-digidarlas.blogspot.com

The image I used is one of Darla’s digi stamp I bought from her store. It’s definitely one of my fav stamps! I used digi designer paper and the sentiment stamp is from papertreyink.

Here is a great last minute gift for mothers day .
Materials needed:
12 x12 paper
Cutter
Bone folder
Strong adhesive
Embellishments
Photos

Cut off 4 inches (12 x 8 )

Fold into 8 equal pieces. What I did was score at 4 inches on the short side and then score at 9 in , 6in and then 3in the long way.

Cut from point A to point B ( cut only the last three pieces )

Fold in half with wrong side facing out.

Adhere the flaps together as shown below
