Birds in my hair challenge

20120420-110959.jpg

Good Morning all! I just finished a card for a new challenge. It’s called ” Birds in my Hair” by A Day for Daisies. I first found Tammy’s lovely stamps on etsy. I fell in love with her style and I decided to try out one of her challenges. The theme of the challenge is to use a feather. I chose one of her new digital stamps and colored her in with Copic markers.

I am also entering Deconstructed Jen’s new sketch challenge #48

Festive flowers challenge

Hey guys, here is another card I made for Digi Darla’s “Festive flowers” challenge. This challenge is extra special because 100% of the proceeds from the digi carla “Susana Shopper” stamp will go to the children in Nicaragua. Kim was inspired and moved after her visit to Nicaragua so please check out Digi Darla and help support her mission.

I have also entered this in the ABC DT challenge “anything goes”

Shabby Tea Room Challenge….

I was searching through the web and found yet another awesome challenge. This week The Shabby Tea Room challenge theme is “Birthday Bash”. Provided with a scrumptious photo for inspiration we are asked to create a Birthday card or project inspired by the photo and include a cupcake. WIth amazing inspirations from the Design Team I came up with this card. I have been wanting to use this C.C. design digi stamp for awhile and haven’t had a chance so I took this opportunity to enter both All that Scraps challenge and The Shabby Tea room‘s challenge. I must say I really love the color combo on this card and I also used a pop-up technique with the digi stamp.

Thinking of you…..

I know I have been MIA on a few challenges but with this crazy weather my family has been getting sick. Now that everyone is back to normal I can go back to my challenges. So far I made a card for two challenges which are “Transport” – Lili of the Valley CHallenge and Deconstructed Sketch No. 47-Deconstructing Jen. For the “Transport” challenge we had to use a Lili of the valley stamp that had to do with traveling. Being that varies travel with wings they allowed us to use our fairy stamps. For the Deconstructed Sketch we had to follow the sketch below. Now for the items I used on my card.

Stamp: Lili of the Valley, sentiment from SU tiny wishes. -Copic markers and Prisma color pencils. -SU designer paper and PPI card stock. -Ink: SU and tim holtz distress ink. -embelishments:Lace, buttons, twine and paper flowers.

Sew Fabulous!

I made this card for a family member who loves to sew. I got the inspiration from Lucys cards. I incorporated some digital techniques I learned from her site and added a few embellishments. The stamp is a digital stamp I purchased online but unfortunately I do not remember the designer off hand. I will have to look through my invoices and post back as soon as I find out. The Digikit I used was purchased from Sweet Shoppe designs.

I’ve entered this card in the Riboon Time challenge On There she goes
