Summer Fun!

Good Morning! Today I have a new card to show you. I wanted to show off the new tiddlyink digi I have and incorporated a couple of challenges into it. I also wanted to try out a new hair copic technique  I learned on youtube. For this card I used ivory SU as my base and distressed the sides a bit. I printed some beach theme background paper and cut out the embellishments ( wasn’t easy). The image and sentiment are both from Tiddlyinks. Thanks for stopping by!

Don’t forget to check out my new CHALLENGE BLOG. We are giving away monthly prizes and giveaways. We start our first challenge in July but we have a fun giveaway going on now.

You color my world

Jen has brought us another sketch for us to play with this week. We are on Deconstructed Sketch # 55 and this weeks sketch is sponsored by The Greeting Farm. They are giving away one rubber stamp to the lucky winner! woohoo!! So for this sketch I used my first image “Little Artist Girl” by Lori Boyd designs. I am in love with these digi’s. They are too cute! I colored her in with copic markers and used several digi kits for the designer paper. I added V-shaped Twill ribbon as embellishments ( Which can be purchased at my shop). I added the sentiment  myself using Microsoft word. Thanks for stopping by and if you haven’t already check out our new challenge blog!

In the pic you really can’t see the light blue on her painters vest

Mr.pokadots and a ziplock bag

Ok, so while on the tiddlyinks group chat I crafter mentioned how they only had ziplock bags and no glassine bags. For my previous tiddlyink project I used a glassine bag for a fathers day gift idea. So I thought I try out a project using the ziplock bag. The image I used is something I drew up (super exciting),its actually my first ever digi! I wanted him to look like he was eating the cookies. I colored him in with my Copic markers and added dots so my son came up with the nameMr. Pokadots. He also chose the color of the tie.20120606-210544.jpg

Gift idea for Dad!

Good morning all! So yesterday I received my order of glassine bags and just couldn’t wait to use them. Then I got my daily tiddlyink email about their new challenge and I knew the perfect image to use on my project. What better way to say happy fathers day then with some homemade cookies in a cute personalized glassine bag! I embellished the bag with green and natural twill ribbon (which can be purchased at my shop). I cut out a large flag tail on a misc designer paper and added twine and a button. The ribbon and twine can be purchased at my shop!
