So it’s pretty slow at work today so I decided to check out some crafting blogs. I found Michele on Tiddlyinks Challange blog and fell in love with her card so I decided to check her out. She has really great tutorials on her blog and I wanted to share one of them with you. I haven’t tried it yet but I can’t wait to get home and create a card using this technique. In this tutorial she shows you step by step on how she does paper- piecing with her digi stamps. Check it out here. Enjoy and don’t forget to show Michele some crafting love.

This is an fast and easy project and can be used for different occasions. As much as I love an embellished handmade card I decided to try out some simple clean ones. For this card I used the 5th ave floral digital stamp from StampinUp! and changed the colors using my microsoft word app. For the sentiment I used Times new roman and Albermarle swash font. I used a yellow-orange textured card stock from Bazzill as a layer. After printing the digital image I sliced it in three parts. I sponged the edges using distress ink “antique linen” and used pop-up stickers to raise the image.

I posted a video of how I color skin of a digital stamp. I just started using copic markers so I still have lots to learn. I will be posting up more video’s in the weeks to come and will post up different links that show many great techniques and tips on how to use copic markers.
