Happy 4th Birthday to my beautiful son

Today my son turns 4 years old. I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up. I made a card for him this morning so I just wanted to share that on my blog. I made it right before I left for work so I rushed it. But I’m pretty sure he won’t mind. I used my cricut machine for the fish and my stampin up stamp for the birthday saying. I put a fish on his card because his uncle got him a fish tank. Love you Evan. You have brought nothing but happiness and joy to our lives! 🙂

Stampin Up Baby Card

Here is my first Stampin Up card! I love how well the products coordinate to make such a beautiful card. In this project I used;
the elephant from the Animal Stories 116716 stamp set
Baby stamp from A word for you 117032 stamp set
The color cardstock used was
-bashful blue
-chocolate chip
-whisper white
-the blue poka dot cardstock comes from the pattern design series subtles
I also used coordinating whisper white ribbon. If you want to learn how to make this card email me and I’ll be happy to send you instructions. To get any of the supplies above just visit vanessavergara.stampinup.net

If you order by March 31 you receive a free product for every $50 you spend!!!

Stampin’ Up! Kit arriving today!

Today I should be receiving my starter kit from Stampin’up! and I’m really excited. I have so many projects I can’t wait to post. Since joining I knew I was going to need more space so I went to Michael’s and bought two drawers and they were 40% off plus I had a 25% coupon so it was about $18 each. They were very easy to built. I really like them. Below is a picture of my crafting corner. The black cube is from ikea and the white drawers are from Michael’s.

Love my Kraftin Kimmie stamp!

So I received my Kraftin Kimmie stamp about two weeks ago but wasn’t able to use it because it needed to be mounted. What I mean when I say mounted is that the stamp was not attached to a wood block nor did it have a foam mount so that it can be used on a clear block. This was my first unmounted stamp so after some research I bought a sheet of ez mount foam on eBay and then adhered it the rubber stamp. I now can use my clear block to stamp it. I colored it in with my copic markers and I did it in a rush right before going to work just to show you how it looks colored in. If you have any questions email me 🙂
