I’ve made a few cards that I will be putting up for sale on my shop. The stamped images are from tiddlyinks and bugaboo stamps.
Super Evan’s b-day party- Mario Theme
This weekend was my son’s 5th birthday party and we celebrated Mario style!
I made chocolate mustache lollipops.
I made Mario and ghost cake pops.I made the hat using red and white fondant. I wrote in the M with edible marker.
I had Mario caps. I bought the hats wholesale and then cut out the white circle using felt.
I printed out thank you tags for the goodie bags.
Last but not least I made the topper Mario cake. I used fondant  and cut out Mario scenes and characters to decorate the cake. I also made cupcakes and used red icing ontop.
My aunts and mama growing mustaches 🙂
Cards for men challenge!
So I found a new card challenge blog focused on cards for men.The blog is called Cards for Men. Â The challenge is called Cheeky Chappies sponsored by bugaboostamps. I used a bugaboo stamp for this challenge because they have some really funny and cheeky stamps. I used white SU card stock and printed the image right on the cardstock. I used copic markers and prismacolor pencils to color the image.
This card will also be entered into the Cute Card Thursday “anything goes” Challenge.
Deconstructing Sketch Challenge
Here is a card I made using this weeks sketch challenge on Deconstructed. For this card I used digi prints, Papertrey ink stamps and a button for embellishment.
This is the sketch for this weeks challenge
Nestabilities storage
The one thing I hate about using my Nestabilities is having to take them out of their package to use them. I tried looking for different ideas and decided to use a chipboard album as storage. I used strips of magnet to hold them on the pages but didn’t have enough space for all my Nestabilities. So, while on pinterest I came across an idea from Ree and tried it out. I purchase a cd storage box from staples for 14.99 and magnet sheets for 9.99(4 sheets). Each sheet can be cut down to four squares to use in the sleeves giving you 16 pieces. It’s a great idea and makes it easier for you to grab what you need. I also love the blank tag ontop of each sleeve where you can write down the type of Nestabilities you have.
This is where I stored my nest abilities but I needed something that can hold all my nestabilities.
Friends Forever Card
For the friends forever card I used a new tiddlyinks stamp. I also incorporated some new digital techniques I learned from Lucy of Lucys Cards. The designer paper I used for this card were all from digi kits and I used Microsoft word to resize and color to my liking. The sentiment stamp is from SU and I used my nestabilities to cut it. I used copic markers to color in the girls. For this card I used a sketch from deconstructing jen’s current challenge.
I will be entering this card in the Deconstructing Jen challenge and tiddlyinks Friends challenge
This Card is also entered in the DDchallenge
