Under the Sea

Time for a new deconstructed sketch-Challenge #53. For this sketch I used a new digi kit called Sunbleached  that I bought from Sweet Shoppe designs. I distressed the sides with blue color box chalk ink and used my bone folder to also distress the sides. I added a vintage ribbon ( which is on sale on my online shop) as embellishment as well as some light blue pearls. The image I used is from A day for daises. I used a 3d method for her tail and one of the seahorse. I colored her in with copic markers and I used an embossing tool to make small circle dents on the tail and on the sea horse to give it some texture.

Meet Little Guy…

Little Guy

Meet Little Guy, our betta fish. So today we accompanied my dad to the pet store to pick up some crickets for my brothers reptiles. Now, we had a few fish but our last one died a few days ago and my son has been begging me for another fish. So while in the pet store my son gave grandpa the whole ” grandpa, my fish died and I don’t have fish anymore” story so my dad gave in and bought him the betta. Being that my son’s fav color is blue  he chose the blue one. As soon as we got home we put him into the betta tank we already had and I had to teach him how to feed the betta so that he doesn’t over feed him. But we are very excited to have Little Guy.

So happy!

After making Little Guy feel at home we just felt like snapping away

Sew Fabulous!

I made this card for a family member who loves to sew. I got the inspiration from Lucys cards. I incorporated some digital techniques I learned from her site and added a few embellishments. The stamp is a digital stamp I purchased online but unfortunately I do not remember the designer off hand. I will have to look through my invoices and post back as soon as I find out. The Digikit I used was purchased from Sweet Shoppe designs.

I’ve entered this card in the Riboon Time challenge On There she goes

Super Evan’s b-day party- Mario Theme

This weekend was my son’s 5th birthday party and we celebrated Mario style!

I made chocolate mustache lollipops.

I made Mario and ghost cake pops.I made the hat using red and white fondant. I wrote in the M with edible marker.

I had Mario caps. I bought the hats wholesale and then cut out the white circle using felt.

I printed out thank you tags for the goodie bags.

Last but not least I made the topper Mario cake. I used fondant  and cut out Mario scenes and characters to decorate the cake. I also made cupcakes and used red icing ontop.

My aunts and mama growing mustaches 🙂
