I am so excited to be part of this blog hop and share with you how I stay organized with my baby aka color crush planner.

The color crush planner comes with dashboards which are clear inserts that are meant for you to stick important reminders and so on. What I like to do is stick my food shopping list and my craft shopping list and use my “Organize it!” stamp set to specify what each list is for as shown below

Also, when I do not have the time to neatly add something in my weekly pages I jot it down on a sticky note and add it to my dash board for a later time.

I like to jot down birthdays and payment dates on my monthly calender only because there isn’t much room. I will sometimes add important events. Since the boxes are tiny on my monthy inserts I like to use the icons from my planner stamps.

Here is how I decorate my weekly pages. I use my stamps and also some custom stickers I make myself.

Forgot to mention my 1×1 mini acrylic block I use for stamping. I will soon be carrying these minis in the shop.

I also started a weight loss/get healthy journey and created a stamp set to help me with just that.

Here are a few things that I use when planning.

I have a passport holder that I use as a pen / sticky/notes/ clips/stamp holder.

And here is my bucket of target $1 spot stuff lol

Well I hope you enjoyed my post and I hope it was helpful. Loved sharing with you how I stay organized.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Next on the Hop is Kimberly’s blog.

Guest Designer Inspiration

Hi everyone! I have a special guest for you today. Mary-Anne is our guest designer this month and she has a super cute tag she created using our new “Easter fun” stamp set. Read more about how Mary-Anne created this awesome project.

Looking for a cute tag for those Easter gifts? Vanessa at V’s Sweet Ideas just released this adorable Easter Fun set. It has a large basket image and cute little eggs that you can personalize with faces if you like.

I wanted to make a tag using this basket so I stamped the basket with Memento ink and then, using some masking,  I stamped the eggs inside. I colored the eggs and basket with Prisma Color pencils and blended it with baby oil. I then flipped the basket stamp over and inked up the reverse to get the outline for the inside of the folding tag. I finished off the inside by stamping the fun sentiment that comes in this set in Memento ink again. Finally,  after fussy cutting both front and back sections I scored the yellow inside part and attached the front panel to make my tag.

Thank you so much Mary-Anne for sharing this adorable tag. You can check out more of Mary-Anne’s beautiful projects on her Flickr. Thanks for stopping by and Happy crafting!

“Watercolor” theme VSC Challenge #32

Good morning! It’s March so that means we have an awesome challenge for you over at our V’s Sweet Challenge blog. I have always loved watercoloring since I was a little girl so I was super excited when watercolor cakes were making a comeback to the crafting world. The first thing I did was run over to my Michael’s and purchased their $5 watercolor cakes set. I was having a blast with them when I discovered other brands and types of watercoloring. Then my good friend Nicole got me a set of watercoloring pencils which I love. After watching a few video’s on youtube I discovered peerless watercolors and I knew I had to have it. I was able to find the mini set on Ellen Hutson (Love that store!) and as soon as they arrived I put them in a 4×6 photo album(thanks to Jennifer McGuire for the awesome storage idea) and began to use them. Wow! the colors were amazing and they blended so well and now, peerless are my fave watercolor set.

Ok guys enough of my rambling. Here is the card I created for our March challenge. For this card I used my new “Coffee Break” stamp set and my peerless watercolors. I was inspired by Chari Moss and her Baked with love card she made for simon says stamp. The beauty of watercoloring is that you really can’t mess up. Like for instance the red color blended in with the grey part and that’s not what I wanted to do but I still liked how it turned out.
